Condition Stacking Necro
As with most of my builds, they're meant mostly for fun, be it pvp or pve. If you find any problems or abnormalities in it try not to flame :D (and as a precaution i got my flame resistant long underwear on)
For a long time i had played my ranger, and tried many different builds: R/Mo trapper (UW), R/E offensive trapper (PVP), R/Me interupt-o-matic, R/W hammer ranger, R/Mo smite by proxy and a bunch more. Recently i had started a Necromancer/Warrior and had a lil thought. In lieu of the condition engine, i thought "why not try that out with my necro?" so with some trial and error this is what i came up with. (mind you i'm level 18, got ran to drok and grabbed all the elites by myself, was rather fun :D)
This is a PvE build btw.
Attributes
Blood Magic - 14 (10+3+1)
Soul Reaping - 7 (6+1)
Death Magic - 9 (8+1)
Axe Mastery - 6 (got a lil 6 axe mastery axe i'm using woo~)
Skills
Signet of Agony
Life Siphon
Plague Touch
Dismember
Virulence {e}
Res Sig
Putrid Explosion
Dark Pact
And this is how it works :D
I start off with life siphon for that lil regen bonus, perhaps a dark pact before they reach me. If they run off elsewhere then i bring the fight to them :D. When in close, SoA will do some AoE damage (nothing spectacular but its not affected by armor :D) and then plague touch the bleeding it causes to my intended target. Followed promptly by Virulence, which gives max degen ( life siphon+bleeding+posion+disease, unless they've offset it with some manner of hp regen, then its 12 pips of degen) and sends their health bar on a collision course with the left side :D. While its steadily declining start whacking away with your axe to charge up dismember. Hopefully it will be charged before your target is dead.
a putrid explosion from your now dead target if something is in close (or to stop some annoying npc necros from using up the corpses). SoA might not be recycled by the time your target dies so get ready to use dismember and follow the same routine :D.
Of course this build wont work for anything without flesh (jades, most undead, enchanted thingies) but on anything with meat on em it works quite well so far. If i do come up against something like that i'd probably end up changing build to FoC/curses :D.
I had a thought on using sword and hamstring for the easy 10 energy condition but stuck with axe since i like it more :D
feel free to post your comments and constructive critisim :D

Most critics will tell you that it's not worth it because Conditions can be easily removed, but that's only true of half the classes (mainly Monk), and if you wanted to, you can control this problem.
I had a version of this running on my Necro/Mesmer during the NR whining days. I had Sig of Agony, Plague Sending, Virulence, Vamp Gaze, with L15 Death (and high Blood) so that the conditions of Virulence lasted a long time (16s). With SoA's Bleeding lasting 25 seconds, you could cast virulence twice on top of it 9recharge is 10s). You also could recast a third time without Bleeding because of these type of numbers.
I liked it because NR didn't affect the casting at all - no hexes were being used. Other skills like Vampiric Gaze are used to regain health from the dual 10% sacrifice donation. It's pretty nice because of the Weakness effect helps protect your team from the targets physical damage while you maintain max -10 degen along with any other damage you may be doing. Concentrate on fighting off the anti-Condition spells with your team and your build can have some success.

Inefficient, at best.
N/W is generally a bad combo, unless you're running Tactics for defense. Virulence condition stacking is not bad, but dismember or signet of agony/plague touch as the combo starter is, well, inefficient and a waste of time when you have access to enfeeble and enfeebling blood. Really, the warrior secondary is doing nothing for your build but making it more spread out than it has to be, with little to no gain.
I would switch to N/Me and use enfeebling blood + arcane echo Virulence to spread the degen on EVERYTHING. That would be actually worth running.
Btw - degen caps at 10 pips. FYI.

i'm well aware that degen/regen is capped at 10, but chances are it will be offset by something along the nature of troll's unguent/life siphon etc etc
although it may be inefficient i found it rather fun to play with
well it really doesnt matter now anyway, not too long after i bumped this thread i deleted my necro T.T

very inefficient when you can use that same combo with epedimic and cast the combo onces. spread it from there with one spell.
